    Description

    M10×P0.5 Collimating Lens for 635nm/650nm Red Laser Diodes — EFL 11.2mm, Glass Aspheric

    Our M10-threaded red-laser collimator lenses with 11.2 mm effective focal length are optimized for 630–680 nm red laser diodes (635/650 nm typical). 

    Featuring a precision molded glass aspheric element with >97% transmission BBAR coating at 635/650 nm and a fine-thread M10×0.5 metal housing for focus adjustment, 

    these assemblies deliver tightly collimated beams with reduced divergence for long-distance pointers, industrial alignment tools, and OEM red LD packaging. 

    Custom EFL (8.0 / 15.0 mm etc.), threads (M9/M12/M14), and coatings for green (520 nm) or visible broadband available on request.

     Specifications:
    • Mount / Thread: M10 × P0.5 (fine pitch), full or half thread; barrel length typically 10–13 mm
    • Effective Focal Length (EFL): 11.2 mm (±2% tolerance)
    • Design Wavelength: 630–680 nm (optimized @ 635 nm or 650 nm)
    • Lens Element: Molded glass aspheric (L-BAL35 / N-BK7 / D-ZK3 grade) or high-quality plano-convex
    • Clear Aperture (CA): Ø5.5 – Ø6.5 mm (typical Ø6.0 mm)
    • Numerical Aperture (NA): 0.20 – 0.28 (matches typical 5.6 mm / 9 mm TO-can red LD)
    • Working Distance (WD): ≈ 9.2 – 10.0 mm (adjustable by thread depth)
    • Coating: BBAR @ 630–680 nm (Ravg < 0.5% per surface; Rs < 0.3% @ 635/650 nm), MgF₂ optional
    • Housing Material: Nickel-plated brass or black-anodized aluminum
    • Transmission: ≥ 97% @ design wavelength
    • Surface Quality: 60-40 / 40-20 Scratch-Dig
