Precision optical filter designed to transmit the blue-violet to cyan region (380–500 nm) while blocking green, red, and near-infrared wavelengths (>500–1100 nm).

Constructed from absorption color glass (BG-series / blue glass) or interference-coated substrate, with typical visible transmission >80% in passband and deep attenuation outside.

The 20 mm diameter × 1.7 mm format is commonly used in fluorescence excitation, blue channel separation, UV-VIS spectroscopy, and machine vision blue-light isolation. Available as unmounted window or mounted in retaining ring.
