Factory custom optical round cylindrical lens (rod lens) and rectangular cylindrical lens made from N-BK7 or K9 optical glass, designed to focus or collimate light in only one axis (tangential plane) while leaving the orthogonal (sagittal) plane unaffected.

Available in plano-convex, plano-concave, and ground/polished rod lens formats with effective focal lengths ranging from 5mm to 550mm. Ideal for diode laser beam shaping, circular-to-line conversion, astigmatism correction, anamorphic magnification, and barcode scanner illumination.

Surfaces polished to laser-grade quality with optional AR coating at UV–VIS–NIR wavelengths. Custom diameters, lengths, radii, and coatings supported for OEM laser and imaging modules.
