    Description

    M9×P0.5 Visible Broadband Collimating Lens — EFL 15.0mm, BBAR 400–700nm

    Our M9-threaded visible broadband collimator lenses with 15.0 mm effective focal length are engineered for 400–700 nm laser diodes requiring reduced beam divergence for medium-to-long range applications. 

    Featuring a precision optical glass aspheric element with >96% average transmission BBAR coating across the full visible spectrum and a fine-thread M9×0.5 metal housing for focus adjustment, 

    these assemblies deliver tightly collimated beams for long-distance pointers, industrial alignment tools, structured light projectors, and OEM VIS LD packaging.

    Custom EFL (3.77 / 4.05 / 6.2 / 8.0 / 9.795 / 13.55 mm etc.), threads (M6/M10/M12/M14), and narrow-band coatings available on request.


    Specifications:
    • Mount / Thread: M9 × P0.5 (fine pitch), full or half thread; barrel length typically 10–13 mm
    • Effective Focal Length (EFL): 15.0 mm (±2% tolerance)
    • Design Wavelength Band: 400–700 nm (VIS broadband; compatible with 405–650 nm LD)
    • Lens Element: Molded optical glass aspheric (N-BK7 / L-BAL35 / D-ZK3) or AR-coated plano-convex
    • Clear Aperture (CA): Ø5.5 – Ø6.5 mm (typical Ø6.0 mm)
    • Numerical Aperture (NA): 0.18 – 0.26 (matches typical 5.6 mm / 9 mm TO-can visible LD)
    • Working Distance (WD): ≈ 12.5 – 13.5 mm (adjustable by thread depth)
    • Coating: BBAR @ 400–700 nm (Ravg < 0.75–1.0% per surface; Rs < 0.5% in peak sub-bands)
    • Housing Material: Nickel-plated brass or black-anodized aluminum
    • Transmission: ≥ 96% avg. over 400–700 nm
    • Surface Quality: 60-40 / 40-20 Scratch-Dig
