Penta prism is a high-precision optical reflection prism that permanently deviates incident light by a fixed 90° angle, without reversing or flipping the image orientation.

It features stable angular accuracy, low surface distortion and excellent light path consistency. Different from right-angle prisms, penta prisms realize constant 90° beam deflection regardless of incident angle tolerance, ensuring reliable imaging in precise optical systems.

Made of high-quality BK7 optical glass or fused silica with polished high-precision surfaces and anti-reflection coatings, it boasts high light transmittance, low stray light and long service life. Widely used in surveying instruments, rangefinders, industrial metrology, binocular systems and precision alignment equipment, delivering stable, distortion-free optical reflection performance.
