    M9×P0.5 Visible Broadband Collimating Lens — EFL 3.77mm, BBAR 400–700nm

    Our M9-threaded visible broadband collimator lenses with 3.77 mm effective focal length are engineered for 400–700 nm laser diodes including violet, blue, green, and red emitters. 

    Featuring a molded glass aspheric element with >96% average transmission BBAR coating across the full visible spectrum and a precision fine-thread metal housing for focus adjustment, these ultra-compact assemblies deliver tight beam collimation in minimal space. 

    Ideal for multi-wavelength/RGB laser modules, compact pointers, alignment tools, and OEM VIS LD packaging. Custom EFL (2.0 / 4.05 / 6.2 / 8.0 mm etc.), threads (M6/M10/M12/M14), and narrow-band coatings available on request.


    Specifications:
    • Mount / Thread: M9 × P0.5 (fine pitch), full or half thread; overall length ≈ 8 mm (typical)
    • Effective Focal Length (EFL): 3.77 mm (±2% tolerance)
    • Design Wavelength Band: 400–700 nm (VIS broadband; compatible with 405/450/520/532/635/650 nm LD)
    • Lens Element: Single molded glass aspheric (material: N-BK7 / L-BAL35 / D-ZK3 grade)
    • Clear Aperture (CA): Ø2.0 – Ø2.5 mm (typical Ø2.4 mm for EFL 3.77 mm)
    • Numerical Aperture (NA): 0.30 – 0.35 (matches typical 5.6 mm TO-can visible LD)
    • Working Distance (WD): ≈ 2.5 – 2.9 mm (adjustable by thread depth)
    • Coating: BBAR @ 400–700 nm (Ravg < 0.75–1.0% per surface; Rs < 0.5% in sub-bands)
    • Housing Material: Nickel-plated brass or black-anodized aluminum
    • Transmission: ≥ 96% avg. over 400–700 nm
    • Surface Quality: 60-40 / 40-20 Scratch-Dig
    • Recommended LD: 5.6 mm / 9 mm TO-can visible LD (violet/blue/green/red), emitter ≈ 3×1 μm ~ 50×1 μm
