    Description


    M9×P0.5 Collimating Lens for 405nm Violet Laser Diodes — EFL 9.322mm, BBAR@405nm

    Our M9-threaded violet-laser collimator lenses with 9.322 mm effective focal length are optimized for 400–410 nm laser diodes (405 nm typical).

    Featuring a precision UV-grade glass aspheric element with >97% transmission V-coating or BBAR at 405 nm and a fine-thread M9×P0.5 metal housing for focus adjustment, 

    these compact assemblies deliver tightly collimated beams for fluorescence excitation sources, holographic setups, 405 nm pointers/modules, and OEM violet LD packaging. 

    Custom EFL (4.05 / 6.2 / 8.0 / 13.55 mm etc.), threads (M6/M10/M12), and coatings for blue (445 nm) or visible broadband available on request.


    Specifications:
    • Mount / Thread: M9 × P0.5 (fine pitch), full or half thread; barrel length typically 10–13 mm
    • Effective Focal Length (EFL): 9.322 mm (±2% tolerance)
    • Design Wavelength: 400–410 nm (optimized @ 405 nm; usable 405–450 nm)
    • Lens Element: Molded glass aspheric — UV-grade N-BK7 (std) or JGS1 UV Fused Silica (on request); plano-convex aspheric profile
    • Clear Aperture (CA): Ø5.0 – Ø6.0 mm (typical Ø5.5 mm)
    • Numerical Aperture (NA): 0.20 – 0.28 (matches typical 5.6 mm / 9 mm TO-can violet LD)
    • Working Distance (WD): ≈ 7.5 – 8.3 mm (adjustable by thread depth)
    • Coating: BBAR @ 400–410 nm or 405 nm Single-Wavelength V-Coating (R < 0.25% @ 405 nm); MgF₂ optional
    • Housing Material: Nickel-plated brass or black-anodized aluminum
    • Transmission: ≥ 97% @ 405 nm (with BBAR/V-coating)
    • Surface Quality: 60-40 / 40-20 Scratch-Dig
