High-precision penta prism and roof penta prism manufactured from N-BK7, B270, or UV Fused Silica, designed to deviate an incident beam or image by a constant 90° without inverting or reversing (roof version provides left-right image correction for SLR viewfinders).

Internal reflecting surfaces are aluminized or dielectric coated; entrance and exit faces can be AR-coated. Widely used in SLR cameras, rangefinders, surveying levels, alignment tools, and optical viewing systems. Custom sizes, roof angle tolerances, and coatings available for OEM/ODM.
