Factory-direct precision optical cylindrical lens fabricated from N-BK7 or K9 optical glass, available in plano-convex, plano-concave, and round rod (cylindrical rod lens) configurations.

Cylindrical lenses focus or diffuse light in only one dimension—converging or diverging the beam in the tangential plane while leaving the orthogonal (sagittal) plane unaltered—making them ideal for converting circular laser beams into line images, correcting astigmatism, and shaping diode laser outputs.

Surfaces are fine polished to laser-grade quality, with optional AR coating at common laser wavelengths. Custom radii, lengths, round rod diameters, and edge treatments available for OEM laser and imaging modules.
